Welcome to/Croeso I'r Rhinos Kickboxing
And congratulations on making the first step to joining our excellent martial arts/kickboxing classes.
Our Caerphilly County Borough and Cardiff based clubs aim to create a fun and safe atmosphere for both kids (as young as four years old!) and adults, whilst delivering our expert knowledge on kickboxing and fitness.
Kickboxing is a martial art that shares similarities with other martial arts such as Karate and Taekwondo, but unlike most styles of Karate and Taekwondo, the focus of Kickboxing is more on fitness and padwork rather than lots of patterns.
Whatever your reasons for joining us, its pretty certain other members feel the same. The most common reason is fitness, because kickboxing provides a great workout for the entire body. In fact its such a good fitness that we have taught martial arts classes in schools for both Cardiff and Caerphilly County Borough Councils as part of their 5x60 Schemes to help children get fitter. Improved self defence is also a great benefit you can get from your sessions.You will never need to fight anybody in our classes, but if you want to then we have three sparring sessions a week and attend tournaments both at home and abroad.
Many students have joined over the years after being bullied. Our childens kickboxing classes in Caerphilly and Cardiff help build childrens confidence which is usually enough on its own to help stop the bullies seeing them as a weak and therefore easy target.
Also you can rest assured that we do not discriminate against anybody for any reason including race, age, sex, weight or prior experience, and do not allow it in any Rhinos Kickboxing / Martial Arts Class.
