The Benefits of Kickboxing
The major benefits of kickboxing are improved fitness, better self defence abilities, an ever changing workout and the possibility of participating a great sport.
All of our advertised classes are for pad work, this allows you to learn new techniques, develop power, speed and accuracy all whilst training with a partner for motivation. This may be a friend, or you can come alone and train with one of the other students in the class. Either way it’s a fun way to get fit!
As well as the advertised classes we also have sparring sessions five days a week, for people who want to compete, or just take their fitness to a new level. All of these sessions are controlled and follow on from other classes. But if you don’t want to fight... you don’t have to!
Becoming more efficient as a fighter, or even just learning the techniques will help yourself confidence and improve your ability to defend yourself should the need to arise.
Kickboxing provides a great all round workout and so you could also benefit from the range of general benefits associated with exercise. Here are a selection of them..
