Ross Mitchell - 2nd Degree Blackbelt
Ross Mitchell of Rhinos Kickboxing
The head instructor of Rhinos Kickboxing had been involved in kickboxing since 2000 and has both represented Wales and produced students who have won titles from Welsh Championship to World Championship level.
As well as teaching the classes advertised on the website, Ross is a 5x60 coach for Caerphilly County Borough Council and teaches in several comprehensive/high schools at lunchtime during school terms.

Kellie Barnaby
Kellie Barnaby - Rhinos Kickboxing Coach
Kellie is a qualified coach and first aider. Her biggest achievements are her two World silver medals as she narrowly missed out on the World title in 2006 and 2007 and her black belt that she also gained in 2007. Other relevant skills include the fact she is a qualified Fitness Instructor.

David Bowler

David Bowler Snr gained his black belt with Kellie in 2007. He is also a qualified martial arts coach and has a terrific temprement for teaching all ages. In 2006 he beat one of the South African coaches on his way to Bronze at the WPKA World Kickboxing Championships.

Lowri Patterson
Rhinos Kickboxing - Bedwas, Caerphilly, Radyr, Taffs Well
Lowri recently returned after a 6 year absence from martial arts, but has already regained the bug! A gold medal at a local tournament just weeks after returning signalled her intent to succeed. She has become a very useful coach at some of the childrens classes due to her college course and collection of over 100 medals and trophies from competition!

Katie Edwards and Luke Goodson

The most recent students to pass their black belts (2009). Both Katie and Luke have done the club proud by achieving their first degree black belt, but both also finished third in the 2006 WPKA World Championships (Katie was only on her second belt at the time!). In adult classes Katie quite often takes the warm ups... Luke would, but he'd probably fall asleep!
